Sofia City Center

Del Conca supplied ceramic products to floor the huge commercial mall “City Center Sofia”, in Bulgaria. It is the first big center of this kind, including more than 100 stores, ranging from jewelry to apparel, pharmacy, hair dresser, supermarket, banks and much more. One floor is completely dedicated to restaurants with two large parking lots (one underground with 500 lots) and a big movie theater with six halls sitting 1348 people, a new place to hang out for many youths.

The mall spreads out on a very large area and rises up on five floors. It is a contemporary style building : the façade is covered with gres together with shiny glass surfaces and the interesting use of inox steel for the overhangs and finishing. It is wholly expressing all the dynamism of this new set-up. Del Conca material has been used to floor entirely three of the five storeys: on the other two our material has been used as prestigious complement. The final choice of the tiles was for WY line and JA line, very resistant products suitable for heavy walking areas, but also elegant and  creating a warm environment.
